This is my first apartment and I will admit that everything has not been perfect. There are days when I’m frustrated with my air conditioner not working or not having hot water. I don’t like to focus on those issues because my experience thus far has taught me that maintenance issues come with leasing an apartment. What makes this leasing experience so amazing is the staff working in the office. No matter how frustrated or upset I may have been walking into the office with an issue I always leave with a smile on my face. The staff is always very welcoming, concerned, and attentive when dealing with an issue I may have. Not only myself but I have witnessed them help other tenants as well. I would like to personally thank the wonderful office staff of Village Lakes. Mr. Nick, Mr. Riley, Ms. Katherine, and Mr. Duane are the most amazing, courteous, friendly, helpful, wonderful staff that any housing complex could ask for. I absolutely love living at Village Lakes and that would not be possible without such an amazing staff and maintenance team. Thank you and God Bless!

These people are unprofessional and just don’t know how to run a business. There is never any parking and they want you to pay $50 a month for a park you don’t get to pick and this isn’t even a gated community. Cars and apartments getting broken into. It seems the police is always out there for something. The office don’t seem care about the concerns of the residents and just brush it off. You don’t feel safe there. You never know when the office will be open for you to talk to someone. They will close randomly and may not open for the day. The pool seems to always be closed. The list goes on, but safety is an issue for me. Do not move out there. Pay attention to the red flags.

Duane allowed me to move into to a roach infested apartment & than allowed me to break the lease because they didn’t tell me that the apartment was infested. They were living in the walls & electrical sockets.Left all my furniture there because it was ruined. Never even got an apology.
