On most days, blocks before making it to the corner of Hillcrest and Spenard, the smell of baking bread is downright distracting. Families with kids at West or Romig know what I mean. This review isn’t going to be long...freshly baked in house, large variety, specials all the time, wholesome ingredients...it’s a given. And the Texas Toast makes excellent French Toast! They are open 6 days a week. Be prepared to become addicted.

I have literally been going there for decades. Ever since I attend West High School. I ❤ love it for a couple of reasons. It's ALOT less then the grocery store. I'm not picking up any extras like you'd do at the grocery store. Many times I'll gotten a FREE package of dogs or hamburger buns. The staff is friendly... I got a loaf of garlic bread once that was bad I told them about it next time I went in and they happily replaced it. They always stood behind there products.
Whenever I've been there I see employees and customers wearing a mask.
Wednesdays. But the do military and teachers discount all week.
