The "Chris Farley" of golf courses. Starts out fun with lots of potential. But after awhile you just know its going to end badly due to poor maintenance. The good: This course has a GREAT layout with many 'risk reward' holes like "Lake 2"- choose how much of the water you want to take on. Wide fairways with not much rough (mostly dirt). Undulating greens that require some concentration but are not unfair. The bad: the proshop staff who lied to me about having 27 holes available. I called & told them I'd like to play all 27. They said "sure". Then arrived to find only 18 were available (red flag #1). The other was under construction and it looked like a big dig.. not a temporary closure. So they knew this was coming. Walked to the cart and it was COVERED in dust (red flag#2). Not that I want my cart sterile but... I just don't want dirt all over my clothes before I even tee off. The ugly: Fairways and tee boxes are 40% dirt (flag #3). Greens are OK. Not great. But OK. At least that was somewhat maintained. The over all: This used to be a great course but has not been maintained. It's dying unfortunately. $40 for that is way too much. Maybe $20 so you know you are not getting the top tier quality course. Lots of potential but poorly maintained is going to lead to a downfall... Like Chris Farley unfortunately. Pic is from Lake 9 fairway and was one of the better holes.

Very relaxing with 27 holes! Ball and club washer are attached to the cart! Green books available at the pro shop! Would highly recommend for any beginner!

Totally worth $40 on a weekday. Greens are in great shape, fairways over-seeded recently. Friendly staff.
