Though I haven't been here on a Sunday morning service, this church gracefully hosted our church for the better part of a week and were fantastic hosts. Right outside the church is a homeless camp leading to fantastic opportunities to serve those near by. There is also a periodical farmers market in the parking lot. Seems like there is a good community near by.

The Lutheran Church here in Anchorage is a bigtime community services supporter. They don't get nearly the recognition they deserve.

I'm not Catholic but today's church service was outstanding, only issue I had was when I said that I am Pentecostal a lady replied to me with "don't worry everyone gets out of that faze eventually" it really hurt my feelings, worship is about God, not about what branch of Christianity you are. If you're Catholic then it's a good place, but if you're Prodestant than I wouldn't recommend it.
