"Established in 1953, by the Florida Legislature, the Lake County Water Authority was formerly know as the Oklawaha Basin Recreation and Water Conservation and Control Authority. The Lake County Water Authority's legislative purposes are: Controlling and conserving the freshwater resources of Lake County. Fostering improvements to streams, lakes and canals in the county. Improving the fish and aquatic wildlife in the county by improving the streams, lakes, and canals in the county. Protecting the freshwater resources of Lake County through assisting local governments in the treating of storm water runoff." AND WE CAN SEE WHAT A GREAT JOB THEY HAVE DONE TO PROTECT OUR WATER AND NOW CLOSE RAMPS SO THEY CAN DO EVEN LESS AND STILL GET PAID TO DO IT. IN 1953 LAKE HARRIS WAS CRYSTAL CLEAR AND I COULD SEE THE BOTTOM FROM MY GRANDPARENTS DOCK BUT TODAY I CAN NOT SEE MY FINGERS WHEN MY HAND IS ONLY WRIST DEEP.

Are some lakes protected from jet skis in Lake County?

Yes, there are a few in the Lake County jurisdiction and some within the city limits.

Someone on Lake Winonaile did some possibly illegal dredging and the debris created a large clump of floating roots, tree trimmings and floating grass which washed on my shore. I have a $4,000 estimate to clean it up. Do I have any recourse?
