We had access to a private beach because of this hotel which was very nice and pleasant. However, if you wanted to walk to the main part of Jenkinson's, do not even bother since it is nowhere nearby in terms of walking distance. Additionally, the hotel room was small and simply not worth the cost. We did not even stay the night.

My family and I have been coming here for the last 4 years. Great place, great service, beach is across the street, and the boardwalk is a 5 minute drive. Rooms are updated and the pool is big! Only place we stay at when we visit Point Pleasant!

Not exactly sure how this place got reviews for cleanliness when we walked into the room and were immediately greeted by flies. The beds have to be over 30 years old because they immediately sank and creaked upon sitting. To round out the horrible bed “accommodations” they included 4 completely flat pillows with pillowcases and sheets that had their fair share of dirt and other questionable stains. Moving further into the room we discovered the shower head covered in rust and mold and the lighting fixtures and towel racks in rust as well. We opened the microwave to find the inside was coated wall to wall in orange food grease and the mini fridge next to it had its own lining of mold around the trim. We went to the front desk to find solutions and immediately we were met with anger and hostility. The woman asked how they could believe our claims and I told her that I took pictures of all the problem areas. She first accused me of having those pictures from another location and when I told her they were timestamped within the past ten minutes and geotagged with the location she accused us of purposely bringing dirt into the hotel to smear on the sheets and pillowcases. Totally disregarding the nasty shower head, microwave, and other issues with the room. This is a no refunds hotel of course and they stood by that aggressively. Its obvious that this place makes money by riding this predatory policy by any means necessary. I would recommend avoiding this place at all costs. To have the audacity to accuse a guest of purposely trashing the room to avoid any accountability is just disgusting behavior.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay. We were able to check in at noon. The owners were just wonderful. They fell in love with and were so great with my 1 year old son. We felt safe. Everything was clean, and cozy. The environment was very laid back and everyone (other guests and staff) were all friendly. The patio and pool/pool deck were relaxing, never crowded. Parking was easy, and close. I loved the overhead/sliding glass door shower. Beach access isn't directly across the street but still a quick easy walk. We didn't have to drive more than 5 minutes to get anywhere. The boardwalk right down the beach was better than any other boardwalk i'v visited in Jersey! Will definitely be returning!!! Even if not to stay, I would love and I know they would love it if we just stopped in to say hello :)
