The food was tasty. The wait was minimal for a Saturday night. The service was superior. The restaurant was busy, but a server was exceptional. Joao aka John checked on us throughout our dinner. He made sure we had drinks and everything that we requested. And he did it all with a great attitude! I am coming back!

Actually there for a shower every thing was wonderful but a little disappointed in my penne w/vodka as they put spicy red pepper flakes in it and I don't like spicy foods. Everything else was good

Yesterday we celebrated my daughter's bridal shower at the Lobster Shanty. Nancy was wonderful to help us organize the party, as well as the woman who helped us the day of the event (I'm sorry I forgot her name). The venue was beautiful, the service was awesome, and my guests raved about the food. They did a wonderful job!!!

Was here for a bridal shower. Great service and absolutely fantastic food, particularly for a group of 50. I had a fresh piece of salmon with a creamy herb sauce that filled me up. Great view and friendly people, too!

They are generally open 5pm to 9.30
If you Google the restaurant on the day you want to go, the hours come right up. In the off season it is not open for lunch, but it may be now. The Wharfside is right next door, they are usually open for lunch during the week.
Lobster Shanty is more a formal event space with sections devoted to dining. They have two areas you can go outside for fresh air, but no outdoor dining. Their sister restaurant right next door (The Wharfside) has the outdoor seating.

Casual. It's a Jersey Shore restaurant. The Lobster Shanty next door is a bit fancier but both are Jack Bakers restaurants and the food is awesome.
