Wonderful people. Excellent service. Be patient while you wait for your repair. They are busy and good things take time. David and his team ate experts in their field...the work requires knowledge and skill. They brought my 1930s Ingraham mantle clock and 1953 Schatz anniversary clock back from the dead. And I couldn't be more pleased. :-D

We started out with trying in February of 2021 to get my husband's nice grandmother clock repaired . On the ticket it says a couple of weeks. June comes and David is giving us all sorts of excuses but we can pick it up 1st week in July. We had to bring it back in October. I never got a call when Angela says she will tell David to call back . I just picked it up today,,,husband tried to get it to chime and it is worse than when we first brought it. Not only are we out $350.. we have to go out of Tampa to get job done right. This place may have been great in1944 but not anymore.

David Boyd is The Clock Whisperer. This guy truly knows his stuff. He has helped me with my Seth Thomas Regulator No. 2 on two occasions now. The first time was to replace the cable that the weight hangs from, replace the broken glass on the door of the clock, and to service the clock since it hadn’t been serviced in several decades. He did excellent work and I was very pleased. The second time was last weekend when he made a house call after I was having an issue where the pendulum would slowly lose momentum and eventually stop swinging (David stands behind his work and didn’t charge me for this since he had previously worked on the clock and it wasn’t yet due for service again). Prior to him coming out, I had tried for months to tinker with it and figure out what was wrong - no luck. It took David all of about 2 minutes to diagnose AND correct the issues. The nut was too tight on the clock hands and the pendulum was out of beat. It seemed effortless for him to do what he did. It was amazing. He is also repairing the pendulum for my Howard Miller grandfather clock. That No. 2 is incredibly important to me, and I wouldn’t trust anyone but David to work on it. He’s very passionate about what he does and has an unrivaled knowledge of clocks. Thank you David for your skill & professionalism. I highly recommend Boyd Clocks to anyone looking for the best of the best for their timepiece.

I bought an old cuckoo clock at an antique store and the tag said "works like new!" When in reality it needed so much work. Heartbroken, I searched for a place that could repair my one of a kind cuckoo clock. Boyd Clocks is the perfect place. David helped me first and was so informative and even cut me a great deal to repair my clock. They were all caring and so compassionate towards helping me fix it. It needed new parts and it took 3 weeks to repair. Keep in Mind that they don't rush their work and they will be needing some time. It's worth the wait! Sadly I never got to meet Michael, the person who actually fixed my clock. I was hoping to meet him to thank him. I trust Boyd Clocks, they were amazing! I'll be back in the future for some "tune ups" I wouldn't go anyplace else. 👍⏲🐦🐦

You do not need to bring it in. Boyd Clocks can do house calls if you prefer. Give them a call for pricing.
