First, my husband and I had to wait for our appointment for over an hour. My husband was diagnosed with Pneumonia, was to see NP for a follow-up visit. Sick wearing a mask, chilled, coughing none stop we had to sit there because ”all of the doctors were in that day, an they were short on treatment rooms” so we waited until one opened up, over hour an half. Then on Saturday following this appointment (appointment was on Tuesday 1/14) I attempted to call the on-call service for a refill on cough medicine that was ordered on that Tuesday to be taken every 3-4 hrs. The bottle of medicine came in 120cc Which divided by the prescribed amount that comes to 24 doses. (5cc’s every dose). I have never encountered this, that an on-call physician can state that they will not refill any prescriptions. I was actually told this by the answering service. I attempted to explain that we had just seen the NP, unfortunately, we did not have any refills with the medicine. Informing the answering service that my husband had pneumonia. Took my number the on-call MD never called me back. Things are different in the state of Florida regarding medical care, I being in the medical field have never heard that it is legal for an MD to refuse to call a family back, and refuse to refill a medication if it's necessary. Did they not take an Oath to assist the ill? To me, this practice to outrageous shows no Priority to the patient. It's a matter of convenience for the physician. I feel the on-call MD should at the very least return my call. Having someone suffer in a crowded waiting room exposing the waiting patients to all the germs is so unnecessary.

Dr. Charron has encouraged me with tools other than medication. I’m healthier and happier for his care. Staff is prompt and professional. Highly recommended. Thank you! Josh T.

Dr. Charron has been the best Doctor I have ever had. He is caring and thorough. He listens to what you say instead of looking at his computer screen while you are talking. He does not just see you as a dollar sign and cares about his patients. I am thrilled to have found him and hope we have a long doctor/patient relationship.
