I might be biased, I'm a member and an officer of the Grange that operates this hall. However, I think it provides a good venue at a great price. Yes, the building is old (built in the early 1900s, with an addition that dates to the 1950s). It is not well insulated (plaster+lath walls and clapboard siding), but the AC does work as long as you close up the windows, especially in the main hall. The gardens in the back are quite nice and there's a large area covered with mesh for shade as well as several nice decks. As funds permit, we have some upgrades planned and will continue to improve the property over time, but many wonderful events have used the place quite successfully. If you have a large event (more than 40 people), we highly recommend arranging for additional restroom facilities (porta potties). Several of our renters have done so without issue. The facilities we have inside consist of a single-stall women's and a 1+1 men's. We recognize that this is inadequate for large groups and that the building was built well before ADA (though we do have an accessible entrance ramp).

Hidden gem. I must have driven by this place hundreds of times and never stopped. What a pleasant surprise! The place is much larger than it appears. The place is rustic and ample. My brother hosted a baptism and it was great!

I gave a 3 star because for a party 1 bathroom is not enough! Great for maybe a babyshower or birthday party or baptism But not a wedding or quinceanera because the hall where the dance floor is at very small!!! Also ladies bring extra shoes and watch your steps with heels. My heel got stuck.
