I have been to the Seminole location 3 times in the past few weeks. The manager Kaitlyn has been wonderful! She has been caring and has gone over the top to help us.

I accidentally sat on my nice eyeglasses that I got only 2 months ago. Emily tried to fix the frames and couldn't. She said she will email other locations for a replacement frame. I called her two days later and she worked on my frames again. Bingo, she miraculously fixed my eyeglasses and they are like new. I'd like to commend her for being a top notch optical representative. Thank you Emily for a job well done. I have been a customer for several years, first at Pinellas Park and since Seminole opened now there. I recommend highly Optical Outlet.

I have purchased glasses from this location two different times, on both occasions I was helped by Kaitlin who did an outstanding job of explaining information to me and being certain I understood everything she was sharing with me. Their merchandise quality is excellent, service is superior and the employees (Kaitlin) are warm, friendly and helpful, I recommend this location to anyone in need of glasses.

My prescription includes a prism and in the past have experienced difficulty getting glasses. Kaitlin and her staff were most helpful and went to great lengths to ensure I was satisfied. My new glasses are the best that I have ever had. Love them .....Thank you for really professional service

Questions & Answers

What do I need to bring to an eye exam?

It’s essential to remember to bring your current eyeglasses or contact lenses prescription to your visit. If you also wear reading glasses, computer glasses, protective eyewear, or other visual aids, you may want to bring these as well. Because getting your pupils dilated can leave you sensitive to light for several hours following your appointment, it’s wise to bring sunglasses to the appointment.

How long does a comprehensive eye exam take?

A comprehensive eye exam involves a series of comfortable and pain-free tests that offer a close-up look at your eye health and visual function. Between having all the tests performed and discussing the results with our eye doctor, you can expect your visit to last up to an hour.

How is an exam for contact lenses different from a regular eye exam?

If you are interested in wearing contact lenses or you are due to have your current pair of contacts checked, a specialized evaluation to measure and assess your eyes is required. Different measurements are needed for contact lenses because, unlike an eyeglass lens, which gets positioned approximately 12mm away from your eye, a contact lens sits directly on the surface of your eye. Depending upon your vision requirements and lifestyle, we’ll guide you in choosing the most suitable and effective contact lenses to address all your needs.

Do I have to go to the store I bought my glasses to get them repaired?
