My mother passed away and lived in Kentucky. I’m not wealthy. I had to fly to get to the family. I can’t afford to fly my two animals with me. So in order to be a responsible human with pets, I took them to a pet resort. I was informed the price was set Four Hundred for two . I was told to fill out a paper of my pets. Are they friendly? Can they socialize with others? At no time was I informed that My animals playing was an extra charge! I took bowls, food , Beds , & Blankets. Final Bill Six Hundred and Forty Dollars. Thanks for almost taking my dogs away from me to add the cherry 🍒 of my MOMS death, & Me not being able to afford the Final Bill. Luckily , GOD provided us with enough family to ask a favor of. I would suggest not doing business At Northstar Pet Resort. If they like your dogs they try to keep them.

I’ve been bringing both of my pups here for two years now and they both love it! They know as soon as we’re headed here and they both get so excited! The staff is so nice and the facility is always clean and has plenty of space for the dogs to run around, I couldn’t recommend it enough!

When I pull into there driveway my boys get so excited. The staff does an amazing job playing with the dogs and making sure they are having a good time. My boys are a handful but when I take them to Northstar I know they will be taken good care of. We have also brought our Sheltie Shelby To get Groomed here after a Camping trip (she was a mess) and she came back so happy and smelling much better

My dog has been going to daycare for about 3 months and attending playgroup, she is always so excited to go in the mornings and when I pick her up she is worn out! Most importantly, I know she’s in good hands and loved by all the staff members. The staff is professional and accommodating. They have ensured that I am pleased and even sent pictures of my girl when I am away. I would highly recommend boarding your pet here and utilizing their other services.

Thanks for the question! We do offer nail trims Tuesday’s Wednesdays and Fridays. We require proof of rabies, distemper parvo and bordetella. Our groomer would be happy to try and assist you. Please call 907-746-7381 to schedule.
Boarding a dog costs $32/day for the first dog and $28/day for a second dog sharing a lodge from the same owner(s). Proof of current Rabies, Distempter - Parvo(DAP), and Bordetella are required. Thank you for the inquiry.
Not at this time. Our groomer moved in October 2021 and there are many openings for groomers in the area and we haven't hired a new groomer yet. Thank you for the inquiry.
Unfortunatly, our groomer moved away in October 2021 and we haven't been able to hire a new groomer yet. We are able to provide pet baths that range in price from $18-$35 depending on the size of the pet and length of hair, brush-outs that are normally $5 depending on the length of the hair, and nail trims for $15.00.
