This practice should not be listed on the MyTurn.ca.gov website as a vaccination site. The staff does not wear masks nor enforce masks in the waiting room with people coughing and not distanced. I am not a mask enforcer for all public settings, it’s known medical settings are going to likely have COVID in their practice since it’s a MEDICAL setting where people are looking for help. I scheduled my son twice to receive his vaccination here per the MyTurn resource and not only was the setting unsafe but they “didn’t have” the vaccine available. I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re injecting saline instead and claiming the CA state write off. Dr. Raphael Argueta was very hostile when I inquired about the COVID testing offered, and contradicted lack of mandate action followed for ALL medical settings per the CDPH.CA.GOV . I was immediately dismissed and told I was enforcing political stance for this inquiry and told to leave. He asked if I wanted his medical license and information, then suddenly didn’t have it to offer me. -I understand the exhaustion of this pandemic, it’s obvious to not offer a resource to help people and the youth to be vaccinated if you’re ironically not going to abide by any state health mandate in regards to COVID. Reading the prior review, the “medical director” who is the MD (Raphael Argueta) that you’re supposed to trust with your health, referred to the patient seeking assistance as a “customer” and that in itself says this office is purely profiting off the MyTurn location tax write off. I know the response I’ll receive from the office will be dismissive and ignored, so to future patients seeking vaccination- please reconsider a different location.

(Edited) on behalf of my husband... After years of being seen I’m sad our business together came to an end. I would have appreciated more respect from the man at the front desk but I understand everyone has hard days. 3 stars for the feeling of being unwelcome by the new employee but 5 stars for the service provided throughout the years.

I was a patient at first stop urgent care for about 4 years. Every appointment I paid out of pocket 160 bucks. I take suboxone and have withdrawals if I don’t take it. I moved to Indiana in July and because of COVID I was able to see Jason the doctor via teleconference for acouple of months. Today I called for a visit via teleconference. They said they no longer do this and stopped last month. Nevertheless, failed to tell me about this with at least a phone call. I have one day left of medicine and his solution was you can find a doctor out here even though no doctor are taking new patients and to find a suboxone doctor takes time. Nevertheless, did I mention I have to do all this in 24 hours? You should be ashamed of yourselfs. To give no notice about this is very unprofessional. I begged for one last appointment or even a refill to get by accouple of days and the answer was no. Worse of all no sympathy from the front desks people.

Went into urgent care for my son’s head wound. Get to the front desk and my wife tells the receptionist that we have tricare prime. The lady scoffs and states that she hates dealing with that insurance; insurance which is used in the care of active duty military personnel and their family. How about this receptionist lady; instead of complaining of the type of insurance, you instead focus on the patient and caring for his wound. My wife and son finally see the doctor and he states that we visit another urgent care because he doesn’t have the glue to seal up his wound and he is also out of staples. I’m deeply disappointed with their care of patients. We don’t make a habit of visiting an urgent care but expected some sort of basic medical aid. Instead they ridicule our insurance and push us out the door to another clinic.
