Great customer service, easy.... I booked an appointment online and paid. Dropped off my truck, I was notified by text from start to finish and picked my truck up. Replaced my back broken window and clean out all the broken glass. Very pleased with Safelite.

My experience getting my windshield replaced was sub-par. The service took 2.5 hours. After returning home and removing the tape later in the day, I noticed that the black trim was very crooked. Also, the technician did not replace my wiper caps so now the bolt is exposed. This issues make me question the overall craftsmanship, but only time will tell. I filled out Safelite's survey indicating these issues and never heard from them.

I almost never write reviews, but my experience with this Safelite has been the worst I’ve ever had. Genuinely listen to the negative reviews and do not come here. I wish I’d read them beforehand and just gone to a dealership. My windshield had a crack and I scheduled my appointment here for replacement. My car has a camera that requires a recalibration after the replacement, so I am required to physically go to a location. The technician ordered the wrong windshield the first time, and wasn’t able to perform the recalibration. Fine, we rescheduled. I understand things happen, so I was fine with this. When rescheduling, the desk person told me if I needed to change my new appointment to do so online. She mentioned that if you’re put on hold when calling their location, you likely wouldn’t be helped over the phone. This did in fact happen to me multiple times as well. Regarding my windshield, without that camera being correctly calibrated I cannot use cruise control and I have flashing lights across my dashboard (4 total). This happened again, 2 times. My third appointment when they still didn’t have the correct part, I was slightly frustrated. Obviously. I spoke with Debbie, the manager, who supposedly gave me her personal cell and ensured me that she would call when she physically saw my part was on-site to reschedule. I received the call from Debbie stating my part was in on Tuesday, and called to schedule. I asked the person on the phone to go triple check the correct part was there. He refused, saying Debbie assured him it was and that meant it was there. Fine. Showed up for my fourth attempt at getting this fixed, and it was not there. At this point, I’ve called off work over 2 days total and I’m an hourly worker, missed out on OT on top of that, wasted money in gas since this is out of my way, and the only reconciliation they offered was my $50 deductible refunded AFTER they complete the repair. I don’t even want to go back, but am now stuck in a loop and have to keep going back until they actually do the job. Not only that, but I emailed customer service to report all of the above a month ago (this situation is now past 1.5 months) and never received a response. I’m so upset with how they’ve handled the situation and with the fact that I’m even in this situation. It’s actually unreal. Seriously don’t go here.

coordinate with your auto insurance company and with lock it won't cost anything. Most cracks can be repaired. If the crack cannot be repaired and they have to replace the whole windshield then it will cost you your deductible
