We were excited to finally be able to purchase our schach mats this year. But, all of the excitement quickly turned into disappointment and great sadness when mold formed on them. The description notes they are weatherproof but, with our experience, that cannot be true. We didn't do anything wrong, everything we used was brand new and took it down in a timely manner. We are located in Texas and the humidity was very bad this year, perhaps that along with the morning dew played a part. (It did not rain at all None, here) None the less, this was a horrible experience and I would hate for anyone to feel what I feel right now. If you decide to purchase a mat here, I would suggest wiping it down each day. I gave two stars since the company agreed to give us a $50.00 refund out of the $160 that we spent. It is appreciated.
