The place has great deals and good quality stuff but the checkout process was painful. There was about 5 people in line and there was 1 register open with a customer in deep conversation with the checkout employee and another employee who was bad-mouthing the manager and complaining about how hard his job was and how stupid everyone was. He might have been 19 years old. The other employee was at least in her forties and was laughing and joking along. People in line were disgusted.

This store is nice and clean. It's newer but time will tell how clean it stays. For now it's nice and the workers are great.

Very nice store, very nice products. Their prices have risen considerably, though. They used to be known as a discount store.

They do not. They give you the number of a local 3rd party to call and arrange delivery yourself. Big lots assumes no liability for damage to the furniture or your property. A friend used them and is now fighting the local moving company for damage to his house. It's better to rent a truck and grab a couple friends.
