this is a nice library and the people that work at the library are very friendly. I have never had any problem finding books to read and i do a lot of especial request never had a problem with my request, i always get the books i send for.

This librarians really do try and make this library a fun place to be. They are nice , approachable & helpful to the kids. They really want to do more for our library. With little to no budget for the extras and little to no help how can they make it the best it can be? Please come together as a community and help. Our children's future depends on donations to keep this library going.

Friends of Tehachapi Library take books, CDs, and DVDs. They sell them to support library programs.
No they have not been able to take book donations for the longest time. I think for the moment they are not.
There is COVID testing offered through Optimum on Fridays and Saturdays, but it is not a rapid test. It takes 2-3 days for results.
