They try. Drought is starting to make a visual impact. Don't miss a fairway else learn to hit from hardpan. Greens are in good shape and putts run true, some trace of fungus which will get worse with a dry summer. If wind is a problem you may best think about another course.

For a muni course it's in fabulous shape.. few rough spots but nice course!

I really love this facility. No frills, but everything for the novice to professional. Great driving, chipping and putting resources. Fully stocked pro shop, fitting resources, clinics and lessons. Greens fees are reasonable, the restaurant has good food at reasonable prices and the staff friendly and helpful. I was there on a cold, but sunny afternoon in Feb and the grounds looked great. If you're looking for a reasonably priced, casual day of golf with full service facility I can think of no better place.

Good course, fair condition. Pretty good greens for a muni. Mix of long and short holes, nice range facility. Well stocked pro shop, and a nice cafe/bar area. The staff has usually been pretty friendly and helpful. Play can be a little slow. Ample parking, and nice practice green.

You'd be having to ask the golf shop for the positions. I'm just, at the range right now. I did my irons. I'm bringing my driver. I need a putter. It's the nicest at the city. You'd have a fun time. I used to do: outside services.
The pro shop has club set rentals to play the course and may have some demo clubs to tryout at the driving range. They may charge you for the rental if you want a whole set of clubs to hit on the range. They also have instruction pros at the range & offer various classes & I'm sure they will let you use their demo clubs. And if you're interested, they can even custom fit you into clubs that got your swing & size.
I went on a weekend and shared a cart. $74 per person.

Arvind, your questions can only be answered with questions. Are you a senior, walking or riding, weekdays, or weekend. Call the pro shop after the morning rush. They're helpful and courteous. ps....Arvind they also have a great bar and coffee shop. Where else can you get a Polish with saurkraut and jalapenos. If you're a golfer, SJ muni's a good place for you!
