BBB is a good service for my travels to the westside of Los Angeles and Santa Monica. I’ve had the pleasure of taking routes 7,8,17 and Rapid 7 during this year. The only thing I would change about BBB is that they add more service to the Rapid 7 and 10 and to make it run on weekends because even though I love both Pico Blvd buses, I don’t want to ride the Normal route 7, to the beach, 48 stops on a Saturday. It would also be convenient to catch the Rapid 10 on a Saturday noon for a fast trip if I don’t want to take the expo line. Other than that I love this company so much 💙

I appreciate that the Big Blue Bus has made a real effort to keep passengers safe during the pandemic. It has also been helpful to have the fare waved for almost a year. The routes have been adjusted to continue to provide good service to the public, which is admirable. My only concern is people who refuse to wear a face covering. I'm hoping that with the fare renewal will dissuade people who refuse to wear a face covering to seek alternate means of transportation.

I'd like to give this place a great review. They run late most of the time like all bus services, but the buses are relatively clean and rarely overly crowded. But four times now in as many weeks I've witnessed drivers missing stops, three times personally impacting me and another time failing to pick up someone waiting. When you rely on public transportation on a bus that only runs every 30 minutes it throws your entire trip to or from work when your forced to deal with a 30 minute delay in your trip - every single additional bus or train route has to be adjusted. It is embarrassing, and shameful to the city of Santa Monica and the obviously unqualified bus drivers that they cannot even drive a simple route once a day without royally screwing up this job. Clearly your driver's are overpaid for the quality of work they are consistently unable to deliver. Edit: all the bus stops here are full of smokers. So if you don't enjoy second hand smoke, don't use these buses.

If they know they will be an event or smth that will afect the regular routes, they make always put signs like a week earlier on each and every bus stop to make sure you are aware of the future situation. Good service to and from LAX. Plus the drivers are the most friendly ppl ever! I love BBB.
