When rating a place like this that's off the beaten path, comps are important. It must be made clear that there is also a distinction in rating between breakfast and everything else. For the location breakfast deserves a 3 star but lunch and dinner is predictable American rest stop food fare. It's worth it to come early and get a simple hearty breakfast. Oak Barrel Cafe offers much better lunch and dinner and Mikes Restaurant 25 min north has better breakfast. This is a locals restaurant and that's who they serve, their locals. Which is plenty to be proud of. I have to keep perspective of gastronomic experience with expectations of location in mind.

Hello everyone! Went on vacation to see my family down here. Saw my wife's side of the family for the first time in 4 years! My god is her sister hot. Unfortunately I chose the wrong sister. My granddaughter is filling in nicely too! Went fishing once or twice and caught only 3! Unbelievable. At my cabin back at home I could catch 3 in a few minutes! Oh shoot I rambled a bit there. Well anyways the food and prices were completely horrendous. The only reason I didn't give this review 1 stars is because of that cute little server named Bianca! What a catch! Was a good trip however. -Carl
