Amazing little taste of Venezuelan cuisine in the heart of Downtown Santa Ana, CA. Authentic Venezuelan food. Hard to find that. Got the pabellón Cachapa (sweet corn pancake w/ beans, shredded beef, and cheese), the pastelitos de carne (beef filled pastry), and passion fruit juice. Everything was good, my favorite was the pastelitos. Passion fruit was too sweet for me but I'm not into sweets in general. I see myself frequenting this place whenever I feel like having Venezuelan food. Food 9.5/10 Service 9/10 Ambiance 8/10 Price 8.5/10 Overall 9/10 would recommend.

This review is way overdue, but never late than never. I have been going to Mil Jugos for years because of the following reasons: - Taste - Service - Location - Price This is a small family-owned business, and I think they treat all of their customers like family because I have been treated like one! By the way, I highly recommend the following two items: - Empanadas (Jamon y Queso, Black beans & cheese, or Hawaiana) - Passion fruit juice

Food was good but owners mom, our waitress, was rude with an attitude and not in any hurry to take our order even though place was just about empty. Seemed almost bothered to have a customer. (Scratch off the list)

The older woman who took my order should not be in charge of dealing with customers. She was rude; I am aware we all have bad days, so I didn't say anything to avoid conflict. But even when I finally got my order, I asked how much it was, and she just pointed at the number with a terrible attitude. (I'm a native Spanish speaker from Venezuela, so language was NOT the problem). But even putting her rudeness aside, the food wasn't anything special. I had arepa, tostones, tequeños, and cachapa. The shredded chicken was completely tasteless, the carne mechada (shredded beef) tasted good but was dry, and the cachapa had more flour than actual corn in the dough. If you decide to go to this place to try Venezuelan food, just keep in mind that it's not the best representation. I hope your experience is better than mine.

I believe they have ham
Mask up until seated. If available inside seating if not outside seating. Usually not that busy.
They have tequeños served on plate. The ration of six cost $ 4 the last time I was. They are expensive, even being California. They use Mexican panela cheese. They offer to prepare in quantity, but I did not ask the price.
