It seems I have an out of the ordinary bicycle and the disc brakes on it prohibited a “normal” install of the engine I purchased from bikeberry. Even though it had its special problems and I had a few problems with the motor and drive train, you were right there with me. I understand that sometimes even new products have problems too. The problems were solved with your efficient help. It has been the most pleasant experience dealing with a company who cares about their customers who have these “special” problems. I think the money you got back was prolly the money they spent to get it from where ever they got from 10%. I also noticed a different price they gave it to me for versus the price they sell for. Not sure why bud .
Honestly went through the same scare! When I got my kit it was missing at crucial part. I ordered the piece off of another website and had what I need after a week shipping. bike berry did get the part I need for me for free but it was a month after I got the kit. So be patient and don't be afraid to call them if needed
The seal around the gas tank is very chinsea sometimes a double seal must be used also vibrations from motor when tank is overfull of cause that effect

I was happy with the customer Service Lady Jennifer . But the packaging was below standard also the order was damaged and my 2nd package was almost as bad. I think I will have to find another company for my business.
They have a will call with separate order desk that has a computer terminal and phone support assistsnce. Basically you park wayyyy out in the back parking lot. You then go inside thru a side door to the warehouse and place your order thru the computer terminal and speak to a customer service rep on the phone. They give you a order number and you walk past the corridor where the will call clerk will have your order or proceed to go and pick your order from within the warehouse. So to basically answer your question YES
