Blue Elk has that great modern venue in a small town vibe that I just love. They had everything I could have wanted like hot cocoa and oat milk, coffee beans, and k-cups to take their coffee flavor back home with me! They also have CBD shots which helped me relax a bit. ;)

Loved ending our vacation here and this cute little roastery was the perfect fit. The old guys at the neighboring table were a hoot to listen to but may fall asleep. Fun crafts while sipping on a great cup of Joe here! The server, …

This is the second time I've been here. THE COFFEE IS GREAT! I got a medium regular blend (mountain blue) and a medium mocha (Mokka). They had a spicy Mokka too that sounded delish! The coffee and Mokka were both superb and exactly what you'd expect from from a small local coffee shop. Prices were super reasonable which was also a plus! The decor and environment inside the trendy little shop was fun, hip, and inviting. They had a bar area, an elevated floor area with seating, and a few tables and chairs. Everything inside was expected from a trendy local coffee shop scene. And this is why I am giving them four stars... For the one star that they lost, it was because of the service. The first time I went to the shop the service was great but they'd also one been in business a few weeks, fast forward to about 3 years later and today I was greeted without the person even looking up at me and I was there for about 5 minutes before anyone actually asked if they could help me. Instead of helping me out the 2 people behind the counter were finishing their personal conversation. Since I was the only customer there and they were busy I would have expected a little more hospitality, especially in a small town. Lastly, during this pandemic, regardless of political views, businesses are supposed to comply with the governor's executive orders. The people behind the counter should have been wearing masks, especially because there was no social distancing between the 2 of them. I felt a bit uneasy and apprehensive about actually ordering there, but was trying to support local and shop small. To me, personally, it showed a total disregard to regulations and more importantly, to the care of their patrons and colleagues. Which was even weirder was they actually sold masks with their logos here as well! Maybe after a pandemic, I'd go here again. Until then I can't trust that they will be exercising caution and won't return, which is a shame since their product really is great!
