I arrived 5 minutes before closing time and door was locked. I understand it’s almost closing but I just needed one item. I literally ran from work and the young gentleman at the door was rude. Hire better employees.

This Petco is my favorite pet store. It always has the food my little picky Pomeranian eats. The prices are affordable. The employees here exhibit wonderful customer service and are always happy to help me and answer any questions I may have.
Moving Forward
I took my dog there in Dec, 2021 and this is what happened. When I was called, I was told it was just a "nick", I asked was she bleeding and was told no. I get there and this is what I found. (see attached photo). I took her straight to the vet after. The response was, its not as bad as it looks, but its not just a "nick". Please let us shave around it and close it up. I allowed them to do so and was forever grateful.

I don't know... call the store. I have a puppy🐕
I just recently adopted a kitten from petco at the Bronx location (E. 237ST). I don't know about other Petco locations in regards to adoptions. The adoption process involves filling out an adoption forms, an interview and a fee for the vet services. My fee was $200. However everything is done for you. If you are interested in adopting a cat or kitten, I recommend adopting from Petco. You will also find everything you need for your pet's needs.
They have everythig for dog
If u go to the store . They should help. I really don't know much about vitamins for cats
Only cat adoptions they have. REALLY NICE ONES TOO !!! They have dog glumeing & training.
No.
Yes
You should call. Different pets are in stock at different times
They do but their stock gets depleted periodically. You should call the store before you go to be sure. You can also check the inventory online, just be sure to enter the right zip code.
You do have 60 days to return an item with your receipt. If it's food they ask for at least half the bag, and sometimes with certain items you can exchange items without a receipt. But things like grooming supplies, vitamins/medication, filters, heaters, flea and tick meds, leashes, harnesses and collars, they cannot take back without one
You're not going to find finger monkeys at a Petco.
Petco promotes an adoption first policy. No dogs or cats for sale and adoption events only.
Not sure ! But you could always call the store and find out before taking a trip!
During my visit I didn't see any rabbits
Yes
Petco handles animals not humans...go to somos.com for vaccine
They have budgies
Sometimes they have hamsters but it most times its pet mice
Petco does have tortoises for sale. However; You must do the "leg work" or internet search and phone calling (administrative) Work to Specifically Find a Russian tortoise. Each store's selection of products and pets varies.
Yes! African Cichlids
Yes
Yes.
You should give them a call. They have a dr. there on weekends. However i don't know the prices. Good luck.
Or call your local vet.
Of course they sell gold fish.😎😏. What would a Petco do with out gold fish. Good luck 👍. I took pictures of the fish. Just look at my pictures.
you need all shots for license and do that via NYS website... microchip is a 1 time fee. If your pet is microchip, you don't do it again. If you need it, it's about $25... Vetco is here on Wed 6 to 8 and I believe Sat (not sure what time)
They have different packages. I was there Saturday and there were two long lines. I grabbed a flyer and the prices were for shots. I don't know if the physical was included but the prices were pretty decent. I didn't see anything over one hundred dollars. I took my dog there for grooming and it cost me forty five dollars. It includes teeth brushed. That's pretty good. Good luck.
If you go to your vet. and ask them directly they will be more knowledgeable. Then you can go to Petco and buy it, if they have any. Good luck.
Call the store.. there vary prices
Yes
They do.
Yes. You make them right there at a kiosk in the store
Try the one in Riverdale.
If this is the first time it's happened, you may want to go to the vet. It could be the food, it could be something else. There are cat laxatives also but I'm not sure this site carries them
