Great Upper East Side diner, run by a tattooed Russian mafiosi (I think I kid). The sandwiches and corn beef hash were excellent, the steak was fine. Indoor and outdoor seating. Old school atmosphere. Great fun and good value.

Wonderful brunch/lunch. Host was very welcoming and seated us quickly. Food was fresh and hot. Nice touches like homemade jam and delicious house dressing made simple meals special. Service was good. Not inexpensive, but not crazy New York prices. If you’re looking for extra fancy, look elsewhere. If you’re looking for good food- absolutely eat here.
