Edit for 2022: This review holds up, York is still the best and nicest dude I've used as an FFL. I tried some places closer to me a few times who are only 5 minutes away vs the 40 that York is and no one compares to the service and just down to earth attitude he has. So this review still holds up. I've been to York Tactical on multiple occasions. They are top-notch in service and have been very helpful with questions. I've had multiple FFL interactions taken care of through York Tactical and every time has been flawless. The quality of their work is phenomenal and I highly recommend them with any sort of work for your firearm or purchase through them. I'll continue to use York Tactical every time I need something.

This review is long overdue. A few years ago I sent some parts in for a pistol while doing a custom build. York Tactical was very up front about colors, time, etc. A pleasure to work with. Very happy with the work several years later. About to send in more parts for a new rifle build.

I did not have a pleasant experience. Waited 6 weeks for a Cerakote job that was quoted at 4-5 weeks before I asked for my kit back. No communication about anything within that time period. He did send my kit back in a timely fashion after I asked him to. I'll give him that. I'd shop around.My text message to you states "my current lead time is 5-7 weeks", so you were informed correctly via text. I apologise that I was not able to reach you on the day I was going to coat your items, after I informed you via text the day before that I would reaching out to you prior to coating them. Sorry I couldn't coat your items as planned, I hope you get them coated and like them. Enjoy your day Luke
