It was our last night in Half Moon Bay and it was suggested we head here for dinner. Glad we had reservations because the place quickly filled up after we arrived at 6:00 p.m. We enjoyed the appetizer of meatballs.....flavor great and sauce superb. A bit disappointed only one fish entree for the evening and it was swordfish I couldn't eat. So I ordered lamb chops not seen on a menu often. Seasoned well. Desert..oh my! Expresso over vanilla gelato...yum.

Friendly wait staff, nice ambience, no great vegan options. Pizza dough has dairy in it, so none of the Pizzas can be made vegan. Only one pasta dish (Farfalle w veggies) is dairy-free. The mixed salad tasted like olive oil but lacked balsamic entirely.

Loves Traveling

We stopped here for lunch as we traveled home from Santa Cruz. While pricey, the food was excellent. Shared a couple of margarita pizzas and enjoyed a green salad with seafood (prawns and calamari). For dessert we tried the strawberry ice cream/cheesecake/white chocolate cake and a traditional canoli. The person in our group who ordered the canoli says it was the best canoli he'd ever had (he's 75 and from New York, so that says a lot!). Every plate was cleaned. The service was friendly, but like so many places right now it was clear that they were short-handed. Be prepared for this everywhere you go right now. Makes giving 5 stars a challenge, so if we return once things are more settled post-pandemic we will update our review accordingly.
