Sylvan is a wonderful program that has been so helpful to our daughter. They initially have your child take a comprehensive assessment test to see where they place. From there you can choose the subject they focus on. Our daughter needed extra help in Math after coming back to school from virtual learning. She has made leaps and bounds while working with Slyvan and is always excited to go. They work at your child's pace and understand that each child has their own learning style. Ms. Angela is an absolute joy to work with. She is warm and welcoming, and you can see that she genuinely cares about the kids that come to the center. She is always prompt to reply to any questions you have and is very accomodating. Overall, I would highly recommend Sylvan for anyone who's looking into tutoring for their child. The program is comprehensive and your child will enjoy going. They even have a store available where the kids can choose different toys with the tickets they earn during their sessions.

Due to COVID my son fell behind last school year. I was worried he would not be ready for the challenges of 4th grade in the Fall. I called Sylvan Learning Center and, after our first meeting, felt confident that the tutors there would get him back on track and ready. He has been going to Sylvan for a month now and I am seeing progress both academically and in his confidence. Sylvan focuses on both.
