I haven't even been able to get in to see a neurologist. My referral was received in April and I've called and checked on it being told it would take longer. I called today June 22 and they informed me they closed the referral because they didn't receive any records. No call to let anyone know the referral was closed. If there is a referral sent then there is a reason whether you receive the records not. Absolutely unprofessional. I give an extra star because the people I've talked to have been really nice and understanding. I might change the review if anything changes.

It’s funny how many negative reviews this department has received and nothing has been done to remedy the problem. I myself have had several problems with this department alone and with ucdavis health as a whole. But let’s focus on them. I’ve had a few seizure over the past year and generally wait more that a month or 2 for a phone call. If you miss a call wait at least another month for a phone call. But that’s only your health you are dealing with so it doesn’t matter to them. On top of that if you need forms or anything sent out in a timely manner forget it. Been trying to get everything together for 3 months to go back to work. Forms have been sitting on their desk and haven’t been touched, disability ran out and it on their hands that my family is going to suffer and I’ll probably lose my job because of it. But who cares cause you get to sit and not actually respond to or see people right. If I get to go back to work I’ll be switching care providers 100% guaranteed ucdavis health is a joke it’s all about the money.

I can't speak for all the doctors here, but my father sees Dr Dayananthan for his Parkinson's Disease and he is phenomenal. He is very knowledgeable about Parkinson's and has been extremely helpful with caring for my father in his late stages of the disease. He is always very up to date with his information, so much that the day that one of the medicines my father was on had a huge issue reported in the news, he contacted us and told us to wean him off of the meds. He is very responsive on the UC Health my Chart (online email system), and is very eager to help to adjust my father's meds or see him as needed. The only downside to this place is they do not do a lot of scheduling out in advance, so you have to remember to schedule your yearly or biyearly check ups.

I have been a patient at this clinic for the past 9 years. I have MS and have been seen in their MS Clinic while a patient here. I have always been treated with respect and care. I feel that I matter to everyone in that clinic, from reception to the nurses to the doctors. Even the fellows and residents are top notch professionals. I often see that people who have bad experiences are the ones to complain loudly. But all of those patients with great experiences don't take the time to write something. And I felt that someone should! They have helped me with my disease immensely. They take the time to listen to me and evaluate my concerns. My doctor knows me and my family - remembers us from visit to visit. She's guided me through some difficult relapses and helped me successful get through pregnancy and a birth of our son, by working with me to safely manage my disease. I would not be standing up and functioning as well today as I am - if it were not for Dr Apperson and her staff! THANK YOU!

Hello, my wife had DBS for essential tremors at UCSF. Is it possible to have the Neuro-Transmitter's battery changed at your facility?

I can't speak directly for the surgeons obviously. No such surgery will be done at the clinic, but they will refer you to their hospital down the road. Which is a teaching hospital I might add so they almost never need to refer out for procedures.

I have Burning Mouth Syndrome. At your Neurology Clinic has this been dealt with before?
