Really enjoyed the poke here! The portions were really big and was well worth the $$. The amount of fish they give you is a lot more than any other poke place. Both the Honolulu and 1949 were delicious! I wasn’t a fan of the wings, they were too salty. I would still recommend this place to others! Definitely want to come back and try the lunch plates!

This poke reminds me of Hawaiian style from Maui. However, both of them are on the salty side for me. We tried the Honolulu, Seoul, and kolina flavors. It would be nice to have tried a small sampler platter of the pokes though before getting a bigger serving.

Smokin Fire Fish is THE Hawaiian restaurant in Portland. It was Hawaii in Portland!! Poke was delicious. Kids got the meat platters and they loved it! Kalua pork was very moist and soft. I liked it much better than the ones from an Luau. And Bulgogi was perfectly marinated for one of our picky eaters.

I had been craving poke bowl and this hit the spot. I got 1949 bowl and my husband got Seoul bowl. We both got it house style, which came with lots of yummy toppings. The Korean fried chicken was also very good. The service was friendly and food came fast. We enjoyed every single bite!
