Not legit. They take cans and cardboard bottles. But they expect you to donate your copper steel tin. They don't pay for regular scrap metal. They expect you to donate it and leave it like you don't want it. So they can turn around and sell it and profit off of it without having to pay you a cut.

Called today over the phone to ask a question and the women who answered was extremely rude. A simple "no" would have dont it. Instead with an attiude she was like "No, why would we do that here". If your rude over the phone, your rude in person. I

The MRF has a Recycling Drop-off Center, "Recycle Alley." Recycle Alley accepts TVs, electronics, appliances, scrap metal (no vehicles or car parts); cardboard; mattresses/boxsprings; packing paper; tin cans; glass bottles.
