One of my favorite places on the Turnpike. I travel on I-77 a lot. This is conveniently placed. It is like pulling into a rest stop, but filled with food options from Burger King, Pizza Hut (personal pizzas), KFC, Starbucks, and a Cinnabon (by the time I get there Cinnabon is always closed). There is also a small convenience area. I would recommend to arrive by 6:30 for food. Most start closing up around 7. They also have very clean bathrooms. Once you have eaten, head back to your car and drive 500 feet to the gas station. Might as well fill up the tank while you are stopped! It also has easy access back on to the highway.

I enjoys stopping here when we get the chance restrooms are clean, Starbucks is always nice we love the gift store located, they have post cards, homemade dog treats, homemade jelly's&jams Strawberry Rhubarb is my favorite so far

This is a decent travel plaza, which offers a host of amenities. Staff is generally friendly and helpful. The building itself has seen better days, with cracked tiles, haphazard "good enough" repairs, and an overall feeling of "meh, it'll do I guess" towards it's overall look and feel. Compared to other rest areas, both in and around the state, this is neither the best nor the worst. The availability of multiple food options and Starbucks does push my rating higher, as these do help tremendously in making it a more enjoyable place to stop, and, given the basic dead zone of the area in general (your stop options get much worse if you decide to look elsewhere), it really is the much better choice. If you're more familiar with the Tamarack adjacent rest area, this is it's smaller, less well kept cousin.

This rest stop is nice and had very clean restrooms. I did purchase food and a drink at the burger King inside the rest stop but threw the drink away.. just didn't taste right. Everything else was perfect.
