I ordered wing covers and a canopy/engine cover for my PA-32. They required countless pictures and measurements. My plane has static wicks and those locations needed to be particularized as well. After 7 weeks, they arrived. The alternate air intake bump out was placed on the wrong side of the fuselage and there was not a single hole in the wing covers (all 6)that were supposed to allow the static wicks to freely pass through that were even close to being correct. A total disaster of workmanship. I gave them 1 star because I could not post this with no stars.

Ordered a custom cover for my Piper Mirage M350. Invoice said 3-4 weeks but it didn't come for over 7 weeks and it only was shipped after I called and followed up twice. The cover itself is good fitting but feels cheap, there is minimal felt underneath so most of the canvas rubs on the aircraft itself. The $20 imprint they "include" is simply an iron on N number and its almost not even noticeable. I honestly think they forgot my order and threw this together last minute. I think you can find a better company and product for $525. 2 stars because it is custom and it does cover the plane. 1 star for speed, service and product quality.

Ordered a set of engine plugs for our Cessna 441 as a spare, so they weren't installed for over a year. Upon actually installing we found that they didn't fit - despite being well out of a reasonable 'warranty' term, they were fantastic in remanufacturing based on only photos, and shipping to the aircraft in the field instead of the original address. Fantastic customer service and great communication through the whole process, and when you consider how hard it must be to manufacture from photos instead of the aircraft in front of them, I'm so impressed with their work!

Placed an order for my light sport aircraft in April. 7 months 4 days 89 pictures 11 emails and a few phone calls later, I received this in my email today. "Bruce has been working on changes to the cover design for the last few weeks. He has determined we are not able to complete the project with the information provided. The only course of action is to refund you in full." Attached is the invoice so you can see I am not exaggerating the dates. I counted all the pictures and emails I have saved. I was pushed off again and again and again. It seems that Bruce's "custom" covers doesn't want to do custom work anymore... Horrible experience!!!

We recommend and Sunbrella® recommends to hand wash the covers with a mild soap, like Woolite® or Ivory Flakes®. Use a bucket of water and a soft-bristled brush or sponge. Hose off the cover, scrub it down (be more gentle on the inside microfiber lining), hose it off again, and line dry it. Do not commercial wash, dry, or dry-clean our covers. Those processes will prematurely deteriorate the material by breaking down the UV and water repellent inhibitor treatments that are already incorporated in the material. If you have a huge cover, or the covers are very dirty, you may remove all attachment buckles and wash the cover in a front-loading machine that has a hand wash or delicate cycle, using mild soaps. Do not machine dry the cover. Thank you for contacting us!
Hello Rudy, thank you for contacting us. Unfortunately, we do not sell the material on its own. We do however, create custom patterns all of the time and would just need to work with you for dimensions. Please call us anytime and we'll set it up.
