Showed up on a Wednesday for the shooting that is open to the public with 3 other family members. I arrived at 9:20 and immediately put our names down for a round of shooting. 2 hours and 40 minutes later our names still were not called up to shoot. The crotchety old regulars with the help of the range supervisor, Chester, continuously skipped over us. You would think these regulars might be professionals by now with the amount of time they hogged the shooting stations but, unsurprisingly, they were no better than the complete amateur who accompanied me and had the chance to shoot for 1 round due to 1 regular leaving early. And I get it, it’s not about skill, it’s about fun. So let everyone have some. Somehow even at the ripe age of 60-70+ years these people never learned basic common courtesy. Cheers votm

This is a great place that you can comfortably try your hand at shooting clay pigeons. The members welcome beginners and experts alike to join them on public days, such as Sunday. They can furnish everything you need for a fun couple of hours. It's also a great view of wine country.

I love this club and the members and employees! Everyone is so friendly and knowledgeable! There is also such a wonderful comraderie between all that go trap shooting there. I went twice and now I’m hooked and would never go elsewhere. If you are looking for a place to go trap shooting this is it. Make sure you call first to hear all of the rules and find out which shotguns and ammunition are acceptable to use. Bring your ears and eye protection and shotgun if you have one. Wednesday’s and Sundays are acceptable for non members to go but it won’t take long before you want to become a member. If you get the pleasure of meeting Chester, Milt and Dan you are in luck! (Keep in mind that everyone that works/shoots there are the nicest most supportive folk you will meet). Going again today and I can’t wait!

VOMTC is a great place to shoot. Open Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. Trap is $3 for members, $6 for nonmembers. Trap targets include doubles and a wobbler that will make you work. They also have 5- stand with an interesting selection of targets. There's a clubhouse with supplies, drinks and food. Many friendly people, a great place to shoot.
