The falls are beautiful - really nice little hike to the pool down below I’ve visited a couple of times now- most recently to camp! The tent sites were good, some are a bit too close together if you don’t know your neighbors but nice to be by the creek! You do now have to reserve and pay for your sites, they recently finished full hook up spots for rvs and campers too! Sites can be booked on bookyoursite.com :) The facilities are great also. I do hope that with these new fees that some additional ranger/ staff presence will follow. Our group stumbled upon a man shooting up in the parking lot and there was a pair of women clearly living out of their car in the parking lot also. I can only assume they were taking advantage of a free shower and bathroom which while I understand that, they were not sober either. Just a bit of bummer to have to deal with that when you gotta pee especially as we had children in our group. Definitely a beautiful place to go visit overnight or on a day trip!!

I love going here, it's always so peaceful and quite and the grounds leading up to the falls are so well kept by park management!

This is a very secluded recreational area with lots of picnic areas and campsites. It’s a beautiful and well kept property with a paved path all the way to the overlook to see the waterfall. The walk to the overlook is less than a half a mile, round trip. It’s .18 of a mile from the parking lot to the overlook, .36 of a mile there and back. Definitely a nice motorcycle destination.

This place was so beautiful. There is several different trails and if you get on the main pavement and take it all the way to the off rock trail, go to the left instead of over bridge, cross over the small stream, and follow trail to …

Not bad. You can go two ways. Above the top the waterfalls. And down the hill. Or you can follow the black top path. To a tail its 1/2 mile hike. Its pretty easy done it with. Kids ages 1-11
They are working on them but I don't believe they have them done yet
No. The only buildings at the falls are the picnic shelters and a very nice free standing restroom.
No the road going up there is very narrow.
No, but the water isn't deep and there are some stepping stones
Yes there is
There is a paved part of the trail that takes you to a falls overlook. It's not too steep and *should* be ok for a wheelchair.
You can camp anytime you don't have to ask
Maybe, I'm not sure I've only been there once
Call Jackson County Parks & Recreation at 606 287-8549 or Darrell Combs at 606 965-3018 and they should be able to assist you with that.
the place is in the process of building RV hookups.
It has a covered picnic area.. They have a visitors center but not sure when people are there though.
