Full disclosure: I haven't had the full experience with this funeral home. Both my brother and I live out of state and when my Dad died, this funeral home needed my brother and I to sign cremation agreements and have them notarized. They claimed to need them "ASAP," yet didn't email us those forms until the end of the day on a Wednesday right before New Years weekend. I could have gotten them notarized the same day by the JAG on my (military) base if they had treated it as "urgent" as they claimed it to be. They have apparently been hounding our sister, who is local to them, about getting those forms back from us, but it's a holiday weekend, the roads are bad, and it's not easy to find a notary on short notice (most offices are closed anyway). What I'm hearing is that they are at capacity and need to space. Not something they should be telling their clients. Not very compassionate. We just lost our father.
