I’ve been in my apartment for about 3 month (since September 2021) so far I’m very very satisfied. Working with the leasing office during my move in was a breeze. I’m happy with my space. I have a nice laundry/pantry room, a beautiful walk …We are glad we could make your move in process as smooth as possible, as moving is hard on its own! Thank you for your review Mariann, and please don't hesitate to reach out if we can do anything for you. Welcome home! Nicole Solomon, Community Manager

I've lived in several apartment complexes over the years but my experience at Riverstone was by far the worst! The issues started before I even moved in. I was excited, my lease was signed, deliveries were scheduled and preparations were …

This morning I went out to water the plants on my deck, to see the freshly cut lawn rolling down to the woodlands that run the length of the property. It was a spring day. …Thank you for your detailed review. We are so pleased that you are happy with our grounds. Our team takes care to ensure they are always looking their best. Please let us know how we can make your experience even more pleasant! Marquicha Savage, Community Manager

I really enjoyed the laundry room with pantry since it was pretty spacious. The linen closet and sink storage space was wonderful as well and the updated kitchen made the apartment look sleek and clean. I’m just going to say this part, is not the apartments fault, since I chose to live on the top floor, but certainly something to consider is that the stairs are brutal. It’s fine if your just walking up the stairs with nothing in hand, but if you need to bring up groceries and/or take multiple trips, the task seems daunting. You’ll certainly be out of breath and legs will be on fire. And no, I’m not old and I’m not overweight by any means. My apartment was so incredibly loud. You could hear every single car that drove by and because it’s located near a hospital, sometimes you would hear several ambulances go by throughout the night. You would also hear police cars come to the complex for whatever reason. This apartment is apparently a prime location for car accidents because accidents happened all of the time in from of the complex, which then is followed by the participants shouting at each other. There also would be random people shouting on top of the lungs randomly throughout the night. Some would have intense conversations on the phone, some would just be shouting to themselves. Now let’s talk about maintenance and management. We as renters pay quite a lot of money for housing not only for the roof over our heads, but also for the convenience of maintenance and management of the property. Let’s start with maintenance. Because I lived on the top floor, it gets pretty hot on summer days, but that’s what we have AC for. There were three separate occasions where the AC in my apartment stopped working. If I were home on the days the AC stopped working, I would call maintenance immediately to let them know and if I was working, I’d call immediately when I realize it was not working. All three times, it’s took maintenance several hours to respond. This shouldn’t have been the case since it’s considered an emergency. My apartment would literally be 99 degrees and for some reason, on all three days, I had to work the next day. How is anyone supposed to sleep when it’s 99 degrees and you’ve done nothing but sweat? When maintenance would finally call me back, they would tell me they’ll be attending to the problem in a little while but there was one time they asked if this matter could be taken cate of the next day! Absolutely unacceptable. Now it’s time for management. They are absolutely terrible. So I decided not to have renters insurance through the company they recommended, but I had insurance and had emailed them to tell them so. They notified me to tell me I was not following their regulation of maintaining renters insurance and that I would be fined. So be it. I then upload my policy on the resident portal, thinking they would certainly be notified or at least check the documents there since email obviously was not the ideal means of communicating. A week or so later, I get another notification of the same issue. I then call them to ask them where the breakdown in communication was coming from. They simply said they never received anything of that sort. They tell me to email them! So I email them while on the phone to ensure they receive it, and it finally works. This incident happened twice since my renters insurance policy gets renewed annually. One day I got a letter stating that my lease was going to go from 11 months to month to month because I didn’t notify them of my plan to renew the lease or to move out. I never got any emails, letters or phone calls notifying me that it was time to renew my lease. Eventually, after exchanging some words we were able to work things out. When I moved out, they took a portion of my deposit because I had faulty blinds when I had told them way before I moved out that the blinds were falling apart and they stated that they would fix it. They never did but I was charged for it. They can keep that portion of deposit, I’m just glad I don’t live there anymore.
