Have heard about this place for years so had to try it when I come to the States. Food was superb in all ways. And very friendly and policy staff. Never had chicken like it before. 5 stars for sure 👍👍

The wait time was extremely long and it wasn't crowded. Food was just ok today. Red beans and rice were not seasoned. I've had better at this location. Had a bar drink thar was served before the order taken on a separate tab. The waitress went on break after she sat us at our table. We had to ask what was taking so long, and she hadn't even put our order in. I needed extra syrup, but the waitress never came back to ask how we were doing. Customer service needs improvement.

First time, so we kept it simple and ordered chicken & waffles. We were not disappointed. I enjoyed the crunchy fried chicken (I think he enjoyed it too) & my husband enjoyed the waffles (I wanted more syrup just because I like lots of syrup). Honestly the best food we had this trip to CA.

My husband and I ate here on a recent quick weekend getaway to Long Beach and LOVED IT!! While it may not be the fanciest joint in town, the food is delicious and had us wanting to come back every day! While we're west coasters now, we lived in the South (North Carolina) for several years and aren't strangers to chicken and waffles. I've also eaten at Willie Mae's in New Orleans which has arguably the best fried chicken in the world and this chicken (and these waffles) gave any I've ever had a run for their money! The service was fast and friendly and the price was reasonable. I ordered the Carol C. Special with a side salad and a biscuit (which was plenty for me) and my husband order the Scoe's with a side of grits which ended up being slightly more than he could eat. The salad, grits and biscuit were good, but definitely didn't hold a candle to the chicken & waffles. I was really surprised that they were this good coming from a chain, but I speak truth! I can definitely recommend!

There is another location thats 10min from Disneyland you can google map it
