Would not suggest anyone to stay here who wants to have a relaxing vacation. While sitting by the pool a lounge chair actually broke on me and I went flying back from an upright position and had to visit the ER. The general manager was not apologetic nor did he really care someone was injured at the location. He put someone being injured on the property to the back burner and took hours to call us regarding it. Spent about 6 hours in the ER that night on my vacation because the staff does not check the safety of their lounge chairs before allowing people to use them. Not to mention the room was absolutely covered in ants and the tv said to call the cable company for channels? Ridiculous will never be staying here again nor recommending.

Tiny room. The bathroom hasn’t been updated in at least 25 years. Almost no water pressure in the sink and the shower handle was rusted out, The TV was maybe a 20 inch. NO milk or cream for coffee. Choice motel would’ve been better. Tiki bar was fine not free so why the $435 a night? Colossal waste of money. What a nerve to charge so much for a motel room that hasn’t been upgraded in decades and no maid service.

This was the best getaway. In addition to this being a great location, the staff was terrific and the quaint rooms were clean and comfortable. The pool was amazing and had a great river view while being steps away from the ocean. I look forward to visiting in the future.
