The physical location is a little small and it's often busy which makes it feel more cramped. With that being said you can't take points away for a restaurant being popular. The pizza was also fresh and full of flavor. The vegetarian slice for example was packed with great ingredients and cooked to perfection. The dough was not soggy nor was it too bready. I personally prefer I longer cook time but I can do that in the oven at home. I recommend giving it a try especially for their specialty slices.

Best pizza in Brooklyn if you want that old school Brooklyn pizza slice taste. Some might not like it, because they like the other old school Brooklyn pizza taste (yes there are 3 different tastes and 2 of them are the major ones, the third is the $1 pizza taste), nevertheless I would give them a shot if you want non mass produced NYC pizza

Okay, so the regular cheese slice was good. Not the very best I've ever eaten but it was good, the cheese sticks tasted like they were out for days, so did the garlic knots. I was really excited about the chicken roll ,and it had good taste but was raw in the middle that dough was not cooked through. I was really disappointed because I am 4 months pregnant and I was afraid I'd get sick from the dough. I wanted this place to be great because it's the only non franchise pizza place near me. I'll be giving this place another shot because I did like the pizza, but please Please cook the chicken roll properly. It's one of my favorite things to get from a pizza place and I was so disappointed.

The grandma Sicilian is the way to go here. It’s fairly priced and a solid slice. Two slices is good for dinner, but I can eat 3 or 4 if I’m really hungry. I gained 10 pounds living across the street from this place.

Is this the same people/owners who owned the Armondo's Pizzeria on Kings Highway in Brooklyn back in the 1970's - 80's???
