My favorite restaurant in New York - everything is handmade by grandmothers! The fact that this place is Michelin rated is an afterthought. Great ambiance, great service, and out of this world food. It is worth coming to Staten Island just to eat here! I will be eager to return!

Warm, friendly service with great, flavorful food. The caprese salad was tasty, simple, and fresh. The seaweed salad was delicious, and a neat twist on typical seaweed salad by including cucumbers. The Japanese Dengaku was the star of the show, with a char grilled eggplant with a miso glaze sauce. The vegan vegetarian pie had a great combination of root vegetables, sweet potatoes, and pesto sauce. The mixed berry crumble with strawberry basil gelato was a sweet, but not too sweet, conclusion to a finely crafted meal. Definitely a nice place for a fun weekend dining experience.

Really enjoyed our dining experience, the concept is fantastic, they feature a Nonna from a different country every week. The owners and staff are very friendly, you can really see that they care about the restaurant. Not too expensive either, great time and they gave us free dessert!

We were traveling from Upper East Side to Staten Island and it was all worth it. Delicious homemade international foods and wonderful hospitality from everyone in the restaurant. They also have good selections of wine If it was not setup as restaurant dining, I would not know that we were in a restaurant. Highly recommended especially the Nonna lasagna.
