Small park with green space and a playground. You get a good view of the Hollywood sign. The only issue is that the park is pretty hard to get to, street parking only, and there is no public transit access. On the other hand, if you enjoy hiking and trail running, this area is pretty nice and you'll have some nice options here.

This is really the best and somewhat official spot to see the Hollywood sign. Don't stop along the GPS quoted route until you reach the park itself, you'll be tempted based on how many people park downhill and walk up, you can go through the residential neighborhoods right up to the park. It's a great view and parking is fairly easy since there's people are constantly coming and going.

One of the most iconic signs in tha actual days. This park gives you incredible spots for pictures with The Hollywood sign up in the hill. Parking space is a little complicated during weekends, but you can definitely find a spot. Enjoy your visit.

One of the best vantage points for photo ops with the Hollywood sign! It is a small park, but glad that it is well kept. A nice close view of the Hollywood sign, with almost no hike. Street parking (inclined) in front of this park is mostly available, but we might have to park downhill during rush hours. The road leading to this park is also beautiful to drive through, with curved roads and foliage, and mostly light traffic.

No, it is open from sunrise to sunset on all days of the week.
Parking is scarce as it is only street parking available. No parking lot or structure. Furthermore the streets are really narrow which makes it a challenge for big vehicles to turn back around to exit the area.
You don’t have to hike to get here. You can park on the street and walk to the park
Yes. There is a fenced area and an unfenced area, both had unleashed dogs when i visited.
The only snacks there is this sales cart that sells fruit and water and soda That's pretty much it. But i do see ppl go and do a lil mini picnic .
No
No bike trails in this park. Only grassy areas with pets running around loose.
No, swimming is not allowed. It is a water reservoir.
Not sure. Saw "Do not cross" tape stretched all around it.
Grass & Park Benches... & Nothing else. D It's in the Foothills, plus too close to some expensive houses. Most go here to relax or to hike a bit. AMAZING VIEWS (day & night when clear, but but summer nights are GREAT!!) for the view of Lake Hollywood, View of Downtown LA & View of the Hollywood sign.

No it's free and open to the public during daylight hours
I do not know, but I think so
By car its about 20 minutes but it depends on the traffic.
No BBQ there. Hi fire area and even smoking isn't allowed. Lake Hollywood which also known as the Hollywood reservoir is not open for swimming or any other activity.
There is no fenced in off leash dog area.
You can park on the side of the road for free. If you want to be sure to get a parking spot, go a bit early. We got there a bit after sunrise, and there were hardly anyone there. You can hike to the Hollywood Sign from here. From Canyon Lake Dr, walk up Mulholland Hwy and then Mt Lee Drive. We didn't go all the way up to the sign, though. We stopped at another good spot on the same trail which only requires about 15-20 mins of hiking. Remember that people live here, so be considerate, i.e. don't make too much noise or litter in this area.
Well ideal place to view n picture of Hollywood sign
No. There is no water at the park. There is a reservoir nearby which is fenced off.
