Ok As rule of thumb I try to review if it’s horrible or amazing!!! This rainbow ace in Suffern is just that !! The prices are probably what customers want to hear about first .. anyplace I can get coffee equal and other daily needs for under 8$!!! But what really is amazing is the people who work there.. as a person in the hotel hospitality industry that’s important !!! They are very helpful and the staff from the manager to the nice man who sweeps all great smiles and very welcoming great job!!!!

Ace Hardware stays true to their slogan "the helpful place". They were amazing. I had just bought a truck at a nearby dealership and it was missing a few bolts. I was 1 day out from moving across the country and needed these bolts. Despite the urgency, the dealership was unwilling/unable to identify the dimensions of the bolts. So we hauled over to the Ace Hardware. We walked in and Saun immediately pointed us over to Clay. I showed Clay the bolt I needed and he walked us around the store with the speed of lightning, the professionalism of the secret service, and the knowledge of someone who has a PhD in bolts. We got a handful of different bolts and tried them out. By process of elimination, we had narrowed the correct dimensions but the store was closing in 5 minutes and we still had to get the correct length and buy all 12. We ran back in. Saun noticed our urgency and grabbed the bolts that we described and came out to the truck with us to make sure they installed correctly. He was even out there helping test. Once we found the right bolt, he went back in to help save us time and got the correct number of each bolt we needed. They kept the store open slightly later and everyone was still helpful, polite, and seemed like they really only cared that it was finally solved. We installed everything in the parking lot. The trip was saved. I was now driving a truck that had all the bolts it should (big win for feeling safe in the car). My wife decided to stay with me. Everything was perfect. Ace Hardware was truly "the helpful place". Big shout out to Clay and Saun.

Incredibly helpful and knowledgeable staff, but a limited selection, and the prices are a bit higher. Great for paint and the odd bit of hardware.
