Very nice, respectful and laid back. I always feel comfortable when I've been there. Also the right amount of privacy when I visit and I don't feel rushed. Beautiful campus!

DO NOT WORK HERE! I worked here for 2 months roughly. Pay was EXTREMELY low. They rushed through 2 weeks of training then BOOM put us out on the floors. I had zero knowledge of how to actually do the job. Severely understaffed. Told us in training if we need help just radio for backup, I did several times and no one came, or came like an hour later... Told us in training we’d never be alone with more that 7 kids, per Kansas law, but they said their policy is 4. There was numerous times when I’d be alone with 10+ Kids, mind you with no training as well. Not a set work schedule. I’d get off at 10 pm some night, not actually leaving till midnight or later, then have to work at 7 the next morning. The end all for me was several kids cornering me and I had zero help from other staff. Do yourself a favor and DONT APPLY!

The last 2 months my son has been there has been great! The staff keeps me up-to-date with the good and bad. My child's therapist is WONDERFUL. I feel comfortable with placing my child there and even feel it is doing him well. As far as fidget spinners they. Do allow them to have them there during therapy sessions😁 I am grateful I was able to get my son in to KIDS TLC!

If the parent is refusing needed medical treatment for the child then call and report to child abuse/neglect line.
Kids TLC, does not accept pregnant clients, because of liability purposes. There is a waitlist however. You can always call the organization to verify this and ask to speak with someone in the admissions department, but no pregnant residents.
If the child is in state custody (KVC or St. Francis), contact their caseworker with that particular agency.
Kidstlc provides the kids with their basic hygiene; i.e. shampoo, body wash, deodorant, toothpaste, etc. Unless she has an allergy to certain products, it's no need for basic hygiene products. Socks, underwear, and shoes (without laces) are fine. The items will be checked before she gets it; anything she can NOT have will be placed in her storage tote to return home.
Yes, they take medical card, prescribe meds, and they do outpatient therapy. They also offer inpatient.
I'll look somewhere else for my son I'm a single mother of 6 small children and my youngest son is in need of help that I can't provide so I'll keep looking thanks appreciate it
