I made an appointment online. I arrived 15 minutes before my appointment time as requested. I signed in and got a number. Before I had time to set down my number was called. The person that waited on me was very polite. I was leaving in my car 5 minutes before my appointment time.

They were quick and courteous. You can make an appt online (even on the same day) and they got me right in, before I could even sit down and wait for my number to be called. KS DOR has figured out they’re wait time problem and it’s much appreciated.

1 star. I pray you never have to end up calling them for your license. They will lose receipts and notes and claim they never received and then wait 10 years and tell you that you owe them over things you had settled/dismissed. They will make up a note and postdate it so they are never wrong. You the customer is the only one that makes mistakes. They do not. So document and record every conversation/interaction with them. They will also hang up rather than explain or email your any confirmation documents. It's their word against yours

MAKE AN APPOINTMENT The only reason it is not 5 is due to the lady at the front. I had no idea an appointment was needed to join the line and she was just really rude about it. I get that she probably has to tell numerous people through out the day that but she didn't have to be so rude. She handed me a website to go to (which wouldn't load by the way) and i go to the website and it says my appointment is for 30 minutes later I don't understand why she even had me make an appointment vs seeing when the next available one was. 30 min really isn't that long away. But when I got back in she was directing other people to a different window to make an appointment and I was a bit irritated that she didn't tell me about that and instead sent me away. A young gentleman came in after me and had the same problem where he was told he didnt need an appointment and then she was rude to him about how he has to make one. I can respect that you need an appointment but i dont like the attitude behind it. Long story short make sure you got to the dmv website and make an appointment. I really hope her day gets better so she can be a little more kind to people.

Take your registration of the car for the title you want!
If you haven't changed anything, you might renew on the ikan app.

The title can be taken elsewhere, on 37th Street. But you need a clean title, if there is a lien or a bank to the left of the title you need a release of debt from the bank. .
We didn't need an appointment. They do take people with appointments first though

You have to check with the tag division. We dont do license plates at revenue. Just licenses.
If you are talking about if it is suspended there is a place on the ksrevenue.org website in online services that should be able to tell you if you give the information about you and driver's license number.
DMVs are in Olathe, Mission or Overland Park. You'd want to ask in Johnson county specifically though about tags.
