Homemade salsa that is "mildly sweet"(waitress' word) is very refreshing and the star of the meal. They warned me about lacking guacamole at the time but I proceeded with the dish; it turned out pretty dry without guacamole, I should've changed the order I guess.

Delicious food with great service. This is a very popular restaurant located within the grocery store; Supermart El Torito. But with it's own section. The food is very well prepared and flavored, and the staff are friendly and attentive. Not all speak or understand English. But there are always staff available who do. There are two seating areas within the restaurant. They are both kept clean. And food is prepared in a timely manner. While their tacos are very good, they have a very good sized menu. Which includes everything from typical Mexican restaurant dishes to seafood and steak plates. Everything I've had there has been good. It's located in a busy area with fairly limited parking space. Thus parking can be difficult to find when busy. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

This place was really incredible. They had a very diverse menu, with lots of different options for anybody. I got a combination plate with shrimp, chicken and steak with Spanish rice and refried beans. It also had charred veggies, onions, capsicum and jalapeños. We also tried their birria goat tacos and the goat meat was so tender and delicious. I also really liked the salsa. Everybody’s dish looked really good, the flautus and pescado options were also some of the highlights on their menu and I can’t wait to try in the future. We went on a very busy Sunday lunch hour so our food took a really long time to get delivered. But you could tell everything was made to order, very fresh and hot. The restaurant also next to the Mexican grocery store that sells some amazing fresh produce, meat and ingredients. This is definitely a great spot for good Mexican food in Kansas City, Kansas.

The shrimp cocktail was refreshing but it was a little sweet. The tacos were so very good. Some of my favorites of the day!
