Rented a 15’ truck and it went terribly. They told me that the gas tank was full and to bring it back full. Gas tank was NOT full, then when i returned it as it was when i rented the truck, brought it back at the same level. I have photos for proof and they still ate trying to charge me a Gas charge. Then they charged my card DOUBLE the amount i was supposed to pay TWO weeks after my rental contract ended. I have been trying to contact them about this issue and all they can do it give me different numbers left and right. i’ve talked to around 6 different people and it still isn’t resolved. Do NOT recommend. Bad customer service and nobody seems to be able to do anything besides pass you off to somebody else.

I can't say enough about this place..... the staff is absolutely amazing, friendly and extremely helpful. I fell behind a couple of months due to surgery and they were so very understanding and patient as I got back on track financially and take care of my unit. Everything about this place from uhaul rentals and supplies to which I have recently had to rent and purchase was simple and easy. They are so accommodating to your needs and making sure your in the right unit, right truck and right utilities that are needed. George and Renee thank you, thank you!

Nice and clean spaces. Easy to access. Everything went like clockwork. Super easy. Only thing worth mentioning is how friendly and helpful the front desk staff was. In my experience, for some reason I don't understand, most people in Palm Desert are not very pleasant or helpful and are generally not good moods - but these guys are!

Security Public storage in Palm Desert ( off Varner) by far was the best experience I had. I went to several storage locations trying to get the best deal and when I walked in was quickly greeted. I explained what I was looking for and they guided me on the different sizes they had. The pricing was less than the other storage places. I received great customer service from Rene and Ashley. In addition they have amazing Uhaul truck rates too.

Please refer to our storage sizing guide or call the manager, and we will be happy to help you decide what size will work best for you. The unit size you may require can vary greatly, depending on the size of your furniture, how high you can stack boxes and a number of other variables.
Hello Tyler, Daily rental charges are based on a 24 hour window. If you exceed the 24 hour mark you will just be charged an additional day for the rental, insurance (if selected during rental), and rental equipment (dollies, furniture pads, etc.). We do appreciate notice if you plan on extending the rental so we can avoid reserving that equipment for another customer. I hope this answers your question. Thank you, Alan Vila
