Called the nonemergency number today to inquire about rules for installing surveillance cameras on homes. My neighbor behind me has installed them which look into my backyard. Don’t care if they do so just don’t want to be caught on camera every time I’m in my own yard. So I called to find out the rules here in this state. The woman I spoke with was meaner than a junk yard dog and clearly did not even want to understand my question. She seemed incensed that I would even question someone’s right to install them. All I needed was info on what they’re allowed to view so I could approach my neighbor with the proper information. This person should not be answering phone calls from the public.

Had a small accident in a parking lot and called for a report for insurance purposes. Up to that point I have no problems. My problem is that the officer falsely led me to believe that a tow truck to move our vehicles apart so I could go home would be covered by insurance and there would be no charge that day. I say falsely because not only does my insurance not cover towing there was also a $200 charge that also must be paid right then to the tow company (tow driver is partially at fault for not informing me of the cost beforehand as well, I'm leaving a separate review on his company stating that). Had I not had a family member that could help I would have had no choice but to give up my rent money and risk homelessness because of this officer's lies. Being young and not having any real experience with tow companies I placed my trust in this officer to give me correct information. I will never place my trust in a police officer after this because if they will lie about something this small then there is no telling what else they will lie about.

Yes you need a permit and you will need to be fingerprinted for your concealed weapons permit. Please feel free to call the police department and ask for a detective or Captain Wilkie. They can give you the answer to your questions.
Hi Sandra, Vehicles (and trailers) must be moved every 48-hours. If they remained parked, you can call the non-emergency line to report it being over parked. An officer will attempt to make contact with the owner and inform them of the parking regulations. If the vehicle still remains, we can tow at at the owner's expense.
