Lovely large, new playground (3 structures) with swings. My family and I had a great time! The area is beautiful! There were also two tennis courts and a large pavilion with a few picnic tables. There are big trees and good shade. There is a bathroom though there were black widow spiders inside so be careful!

A funky park that is great for bird watching! I visit once a week and always see a great variety of birds.

Nice park for families in the area. While traveling we were tried to cook a quick meal at a nearby park, a little east of here. They told us to come here. Parking is aplenty. Bathrooms were closed due to COVID, it would’ve really been better if they were open, but I can understand.

Great natural area, as well as play park for children. They even have skate boarding area and a wonderful Art co-op filled with unique items from Local Artisans

I've seen plenty of people with dogs there and never heard any complaints
The park is pet-friendly. However, the Nature Preserve and trails connected to Covington Park are not pet friendly. It is a nature preserve, so disruption from pets, their droppings and smells discourage the natural wildlife. You are welcome to bring your pets to the Parks common area
