Vickie (mojo) was incredibly drunk, and smelled of old cheese. There are intoxicated people who are mostly criminals staying here, this is not a very safe place for kids - yet there are kids everywhere! CPS should get involved <3

This place is so magical. My wife and I happened upon Mojo’s camp and were greeted like family. They held a plot for us while we went to get camping supplies and we all sat around the fire and roasted hot dogs and s’mores. We ventured off with a local named Stewie (BEST TOUR GUIDE EVER) who showed us some of the local hang outs and we had the time of our lives! Seriously a memory I never want to lose and I can’t wait to go back and make more! The camp dogs are all so friendly and cute. Everyone at the camp treated us like old friends. I really can’t explain in words how incredible our experience was. Get out to Mojos and make you some friends and some memories!

My husband and I stayed two nights here and were sad to leave! Mojo is a super kind and amazing lady and we felt so safe staying here. Everyone at the camp was friendly and made us feel welcome right away. Also, our dog had the time of his life running around with the other dogs here and it just made the experience even better.

So would it be safe for myself and 2 daughters (10&12) to stay for a night in our camper van? I’d like to see East Jesus, and Salvation Mountain and just chill around an open fire. Hearing conflicting stories....thanks.

Mojo's would be safe, however, outside of Mojo's you should keep them in sight during the day and only go to East Jesus and salvation mountain. At night stay in Mojo's and you will be fine. Mojo takes great effort to make and keep the camp safe.

The Slabs are free to camp. There are three paid sites, we are one of them. Our fees are $15 per night which includes your bathroom, kitchen, water, etc.
